History in the Making
BUILDING OUR FUTURE

If Stacy’s Tavern Museum represents the cornerstone of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society, our proposed History Park represents its future. The establishment of a professionally managed, historically relevant history park and cultural center is our most exciting and aggressive challenge to date.

• The new park will return Five Corners to its former historical significance as the original entry point to the Village.

• The park will feature a replica of the original Glen Ellyn Five Mineral Springs Pavilion and a new museum dedicated to various eras of Glen Ellyn’s history.

• With the reconstruction and renovation of several historic buildings – including a Civil War era home – the park will serve as the premier education and history research facility in our region.

• Surrounded by period gardens and orchards with native and heirloom plants, the public plaza will provide an enchanting gathering spot for special events, family gatherings and Village activities.
